The Geoff Horsfield Foundation returns to Birmingham Botanical Gardens on Friday 23rd March for a Black and White Christmas Ball. The ball will be hosted by Ritchie Anderson and features Drag Queen Miss Marty, Essential 80's Tribute Band and a DJ. There will also be special guests in attendance. Guests dress code is lounge suits and dresses and they will be treated to a two course meal before partying into the early hours. There will also be fundraising activities with auctions and raffles so please don't forget your wallets, purses and bank cards. Tickets for the event are £50 per head and selling fast. What a fantastic day was had by all as the ACE Midland Legends played against a Walsall Phoenix 11 to celebrate their 120th anniversary of being involved in grass roots football. On a hot sunny bank holiday the public turned out in numbers to support the event and were not disappointed with Phoenix's running out 3-2 winners, There was also a party atmosphere as people enjoyed food and drink supported by live music, bouncy castles and stalls. Mementos Memorabilia are the proud shirt sponsors of the Legends and hope we attract a lot more matches to raise money for charities. It was a fantastic family day and the legends were happy to mingle with the crowd having photographs taken and signing autographs.
